COURSE FEES

* Reservations are made on receipt of a completed booking form and a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total course fee. Provisional bookings may be made over the 'phone but will only be confirmed upon receipt of the above within 7 days.

* The balance of the fee is due within 14 days before the course start date. If the balance is not received by this date cancellation of the reservation will occur.

* The full fee is required to secure a booking if it is made within the 14 day limit.

CANCELLATIONS

* We must receive your cancellations in writing.

* Cancellations prior to 14 days before the course start date will result in loss of deposit only. Cancellation within 14 days of the start of the course will result in loss of 75% of the course fee and cancellation within 7 days will result in loss of full course fees.

* We may at our discretion refund course fees (less deposit) if your reservation is filled.

Transferring from one course to another is not possible within 14 days of the original course start date.

* We are aware that due to unforeseen circumstances cancellations do occur therefore WE RECOMMEND CANCELLATION INSURANCE COVER.

SCOTTISH ROCK reserves the right to cancel a course if the numbers fail to reach a workable minimum. In this case we will give as much notice as possible and offer the following options; a full refund of fees, or another course at the same date, or a course at a future date.

* We will only cancel a course due to extreme weather conditions as a last resort and never in anticipation of it. The above terms will be offered here also.

All courses are staffed by experienced, enthusiastic and active climbers, holding the Mountain Instructors Award.

Course Fees: prices cover instruction, transport during the course and use of all technical equipment, except boots and clothing. Rock boots are available for hire at £4 per day.

Insurance: course fees do not include personal insurance and it is recommended that their own cover for cancellation, accident and equipment.

Food and accommodation: is not included, though this can be arranged if required. Information on a variety of options will be sent with booking confirmation, if requested.
